Management Expertise

• Comprehensive Implementation: Oversaw the implementation, analysis, design, and reporting for MySQL across WAN, including robotic control data analysis, resulting in a patent granted for our work with Microsemi.
• SaaS Solutions: Managed Software as a Service (SaaS) implementations for clients such as Publivate, 3Q Mentors, AIMedia, and Algonquin College.
• Continuous Improvement: Led ongoing software code updates for web implementations using PHP, MySQL, Joomla, Python, Apache, VMware, and both Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Government Projects: Successfully managed client implementations of the PEP Portal for Health Canada and other federal agencies, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Designed and programmed servers on Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure for Big Data applications, currently maintaining 35 exabytes of data across 150 cloud servers.
• Technical Advisory: Served as a technical advisor to Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) since 1995, providing guidance on database management for MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

Technology Leadership

• Architectural Direction: Directed technology architecture implementations for successful collaboration cloud interfaces sold to federal government entities, educational institutions, and NGOs.
• Project Management: Managed a multi-million dollar hardware-software contract with the Province of New Brunswick, overseeing every aspect from ordering to installation.
• Collaborative Systems: Led the development of a document-sharing collaborative cloud system using PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring robust server and website maintenance.
• Real-Time Data Solutions: Collaborated with businesses and financial institutions to facilitate real-time movement of large datasets using technologies like Apache Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Software Development

• Database Expertise: Specializing in comprehensive database management, migration, and tuning of RDBMS systems, including MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Cloud Computing: Implemented web-enabled control systems and cloud computing solutions on Azure and EC2.
• Demonstration Projects: Successfully managed the Personal Environmental Controls project over three years, integrating multiple BACnet systems for PWGSC.

Training and Development

• International Training: Consulted and trained personnel from China Netcom and the Beijing Olympic Committee on effective business management strategies.
